Went and saw Al Stewart again tonight, this time in Santa Monica at McCabe's Guitar Shop. I think this one is going to end up more of a picture spam than an actual review, but here it is anyway!

Despite my occasional gripes about having to drive long distances to see awesome things, I am so very grateful that I live in Souther California and thus within an hour or two drive of all sorts of amazing things, most of which I don't bother to utlize. So, I jumped through some hoops recently to win a song book off eBay.co.uk and it arrived today (thanks to lizblackdog!). I was surprised to discover that beyond just a lovely cover and music inside, there were seven large photos of Al Stewart from circa 1969. Well, I went to Vegas this weekend to see Al Stewart's thirty minute set during the big Junefest event. I wanted to see him performing with Dave Nachmanoff, as all the California shows I've seen/will be seeing are with Laurence Juber. Of course, I also wanted to visit my best friend princessy who lives in Vegas. :D

So, I am back from the Al Stewart concert and spending the day down in Santa Monica with my parents. It was quite nice. Santa Monica is a beautiful city with usually beautiful weather, on the beach, and Al was fantastic. I took a bunch of pictures and did a bit of a write up on the concert.
